Let’s go to Chaingkhan!
During December 2010, my friend and I had a plan to go on a trip. We were going to travel on the Constitution Day which was the long holiday since we wanted to relax from much homework. We wanted to go to Loei because there was a beautiful view in winter, but we must choose Phu Kradueng or Chiangkhan. Finally, we agreed that Chiangkhan was the best choice because the numbers of tourist might be less than Phu Kradueng.
First day, start to travel
I was so excited because this was our first trip to go to the tourist attraction with each other. We started with Chaingkhan without any plan because we thought that there won’t be any problem. Oh my god! It was not true we suffered from troublesome transportation and local people. However, I was pleased I could pass this situation and arrived Chaingkhan safely.
This was the first time for me to see the antique city which was surrounded by many wooden buildings. I was amazing because I’ve never known it still remains in Thailand. At Chaingkhan, there were many tourist spots such as a pedestrian street, Kangkudkhoo, Phuthok, etc.
Pedestrian street
It was the highlight at here because There were everything in this street such as food, hotel, shops, etc.
I recommended whoever comes here, you must buy a coconut dessert glass. It’s so delicious!
Sea of mist of Phuthok
Phutok was another tourist spot in Chaingkarn where people went to see the sea of mist. The view up there was magnificent. And what a funny story; while we were traveling to Phuthok, my friend asked the driver about Nathan’s house. “Do you know where is Nathan’s house?” the driver said “It’s over there. It’s a yellow house.” Everyone paid attention Nathan’s house. In brief, no one paid attention the sea of mist.
The last supper & good bye Chaingkhan
The last supper was frozen drinks, for everyone who enjoyed with shopping until we didn’t have enough money to eat food. However, I had breakfast with rice congee mixed with meat before went back to Khonkaen. Good bye Chaingkhan. Thanks for a good memory. See you next time.
